- The tubular frame of hospital linen trolley is either painted or powder coated .
- The hospital linen trolley is mounted on three or four wheels.
- The upper portion of the hospital laundry hamper is either circular tubular form or rectangular form. If it is in a circular form, then it can be fitted with a plastic bucket. If it is in a rectangular form, it can be fitted with a disposable plastic or a washable bag or canvas bag.
- There is a push handle at one end.
- Some linen trolleys come with three removable laminated shelves and one bag
- In some linen trolleys, the frame can be adjusted to suit alternative sizes.
- Linen bags are not always supplied with the trolley.
