Used to assist patients in getting into and out of bed, the trapeze bar mounts easily to most metal frame headboards and is constructed from chrome-plated, heavy gauge two-piece square steel tubing for maximum support. Instead of steel, other materials like iron, wrought iron, aluminum, chromium are also used which can be painted or powder coated. It is easy to install without tools. The free standing trapeze bar is also easy to adjust for height, length, and horizontal position. It has a wide range of height adjustments and hand bar positions to maximize patient accessibility. The unit can be installed quickly and easily on any hospital bed.
There are two type of Trapeze Bars used in hospitals:
- Trapeze (Free Standing): A trapeze bar will enable
the patient to change position, exercise or assist the patient
in moving in or out of bed. A free standing trapeze bar can be
used with a home style bed when a headboard is not available or
with an easy chair, sofa or other sitting service.

- Trapeze (Bed Mount): The bed mount trapeze unit cab be fixed on the head board of a hospital bed.
