A bowl stand or a wash basin stand is a piece of furniture consisting of a small stand, usually supported on three or four legs, and most commonly made of various types of metals or wood for holding a wash-hand basin or a bowl. It is widely used in hospitals to keep or wash medical equipments, in dressing and cleaning of the patients and so on. The bowl stands used in hospitals are of generally of metal.
